Temporary Position Title:
Graduate Assistant (PT) -- Food Studies
Temporary Position Summary:
The Graduate Assistant is expected to work closely with the Garden Specialist and Educator and support ongoing summer outdoor laboratory projects.
20 hours per week Normal Working Hours: 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM-Time may vary due to weather.
Length of assignment: 4 months. Anticipated end date September 27, 2024.
Temporary Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Activities will include working with garden volunteers and student interns and helping to support garden maintenance and production. The Graduate Assistant will assist in various garden tasks including (but not limited to): weeding, mulching, planting, transplanting, watering, pruning, fertilizing, harvesting distributing crops, and giving input and expertise on outdoor laboratory space design
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree required. Must be currently enrolled in a graduate program in good standing.
