The Chemistry and Biochemistry Department in the College of Science, at the University of Texas at Arlington, invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Instruction, Open Rank-APT.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  1. Teach lecture classes

  2. Prepare materials for lecture classes

  3. Prepare and give tests, exams, quizzes for classes

  4. Grade testing materials in a timely fashion

  5. Hold office hours for outside of class instruction

  6. Participate in some service duties for the department


Required Qualifications:

PhD. in Chemistry or in a related field or equivalent combination of education and related experience.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • PhD. in Organic Chemistry

  • Teaching experience.
