Job Description:
Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Portfolio Analyst
Position type: Full Time Contractor
Duration: 6 mo+
Location: Remote
As a Portfolio Analystyou will work closely with the finance and investment teams to ensure that budgets are managed efficiently and portfolios are performing optimally, ultimately supporting the firm's financial health and growth.
The ideal candidate will have: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as financial modeling and data analysis.
Familiarity with financial statements and budget management tools such as ATP, ITP, PowerPoint etc.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities with a meticulous attention to detail, capable of identifying trends and discrepancies in financial data.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex financial information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to Work Under Pressure: Experience managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Relevant Experience: Internship or prior experience in finance-related roles, particularly in budget management or portfolio analysis.
Knowledge of Financial Software: Experience with budget management or portfolio analysis software and Presentation tools such as ATP, ITP, Jira, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint.
Professional Certifications: Progress towards certifications such as CFA Level 1, Certified Financial Analyst, or equivalent qualifications will be considered an asset.

Pay Range*: 60-80/hr W2
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
