The iconic Washington Hilton is looking for a Stewarding Supervisor to join the team!

TheWashington Hiltonis located less than 2 miles away from The White House and National Mall. Our hotel has 1,107 beautiful rooms, over 118,000 sq ft. of event space, 47 meeting rooms, and diverse catering options!

Our ideal candidate would have 5 years as a Steward and 2-3 years in a supervisory role, in F&B, Stewarding, and/or Kitchen in a hotel setting. Big box experience preferred. Must be able to work the varying shifts.

Shift Pattern: Full Availability (weekday, weekend, and holidays) AM/MID/PM shifts (Union role, scheduling based on seniority)

Pay Rate: $ 23.51 per hour

What will I be doing?

As a Steward Supervisor, you would be responsible for supervising utility stewards, dishwashers and temporary personnel to transport and clean cooking utensils and service ware in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Supervise, support and monitor utility stewards, dishwashers and temporary personnel to transport and clean cooking utensils and service ware for restaurant service
• Supervise cleaning of work area and physical surroundings
• Maintain and deliver proper inventory for food and beverage departments
• Ensure all food and equipment are delivered on time to all functions as specified
• Schedule, assign daily work, inform and train team members
• Monitor, observe and assist in evaluating team member performance
