Job Summary

Provides direct patient care using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.

Job Duties

Plans, implements, evaluates, and delivers patient care based on patient assessment to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate.

Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.

Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.

Maintains clinical skills and competency through orientation, annual and ongoing education, and clinical practice.

Follows Tribal Health and client specific policy and procedures.

All other duties as assigned and specified by clinical assignment and site.

• Specialty: RN Wound Care. Ambulatory Clinic
• State License: Any State License
• Certifications: BLS required. WOCN certification preferred.
• Experience:
  • 1 year recent in applicable specialty
  • Past experience with wound care
  • Updated with best practice guidelines in wound care
  • Some knowledge and experience on Conservative sharp wound debridement
  • Knows how to clean wounds
  • Knowledge and experience with:
    • Diabetic foot ulcer (DFU)
    • Venous and Arterial ulcers
    • Pressure injuries
    • Negative pressure wound therapy (wound vacs)
    • Abscess
    • Surgical sites
• COVID Vaccine: Yes
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8a- 430 w 30 min lunch
• All Ages
