We are looking for an Assistant Site Merchant for a top fashion company in Pittsburgh PA or New York, New York. The Assistant Site Merchant supports the quality assurance of site activities on all websites. The Assistant Site Merchandiser will partner with cross functional teams to optimize online merchandising in alignment with category and overall Omni channel strategies.
Responsibilities:
Support product set up, outfitting, auditing of PDP assets, guides and execution of all seasonal launches for assigned
departments
Partner with cross-functional teams to optimize online strategy and support site updates and changes as needed
Track product statuses, including image and equity assets and other set up details to ensure product launches on time,
partnering with cross-functional teams as necessary
Audit product, category, and trend shop pages for enhancement opportunities with customer-first approach
Identify and interpret trends into the customer experience through shops and outfitting recommendations
Support international site activities including product launches and web set updates
Maintain link library and own linking strategy for all sites and traffic types (email, web set)
Responsible for competitive analysis relating to site functionality (i.e. bundle experience, user experience, guides, etc.)
Responsible for QA of site updates, supporting early mornings and off-hours needs
Provide on-call support for production and content pushes
Attend internal meetings, such as art reviews, sales, & planning meetings
Drive A/B testing ideas to help support category level businesses
Influence search results to push high margin products up the search results page, partnering w/ SEO team to maximize search options
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, Business Administration, or related field
0-3 years of digital retail merchandising or related experience
Experience working with digital, ecommerce, or buying organizations a plus
Strong business acumen & self starter
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrates collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team
Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management
Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and/or holidays
