Come join our team at StrataDx! We are a CAP accredited pathology laboratory with locations in Winchester and Lexington. We pride ourselves on creating an environment where there is high staff morale and where quality service delivery sets the standard. We are currently seeking full-time, Accessioning Clerk/Specimen Processor to join our team. The schedule is either Monday -

Friday, 1pm - 9:30pm or 2pm - 10:30pm.

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Sign-in and receive packages from FedEx and samples from Couriers.
  • Receive and properly identify samples and sites where tests are performed.
  • Sort samples according to protocol.
  • Perform initial data entry in LIS.
  • Prepare samples for send-outs to reference laboratories.
  • Record discrepancies and communicating these errors to Supervisor and Client Services.
  • Recognize potential errors when matching bottles and computer entry.
  • Make client calls for routine and complex discrepancies for retrieving patient information.
  • Perform QA, and specimen container check.
  • Perform initial data entry using a computer to enter patient and client data following standard protocol.
  • Perform scanning and imaging for billing.
  • Participate in improving department efficiency, quality and cooperation.
  • Resolve routine and complex questions and problems.
  • Ensure all company safety, quality control and quality assurance standards are met.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, federal, CLIA and CAP regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and well-organized work area.
  • Provide Accessioning coverage at the Winchester Hospital Pathology lab.
  • Other duties, as assigned by supervisor.
