Lynden Air Cargo is looking for a skilled Flight Engineer who has experience on C-130's, holds an A&P license, isn't afraid of hard work and looks for adventure! This flight engineer must be able to make pre-flight acceptance of the aircraft, perform fueling of the aircraft, and responsible for information, procedures, requirements pertaining to the safe operational functions of the aircraft.

The essential duties and responsibilities of this position are:
Responsible to Pilot-in-Command (PIC) when on flight duty.
Responsible to the PIC for the mechanical pre-flight acceptance of the aircraft and the safe and efficient operation of aircraft components and equipment over which he/she has control.
Maintains liaison with Operations and Maintenance on matters regarding the operation and maintenance of the aircraft
Responsible for fueling of the aircraft and other duties assigned by the PIC.
Responsible for the information, procedures, and requirements contained in the Lynden Air Cargo General Maintenance Manual (GMM) pertaining to flight engineer duties.
Assists with loading and unloading activities of the aircraft.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience: High school education or equivalent is required; college degree preferred; two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Comprehension: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, professional journals, governmental regulations, maintenance manuals, and safety regulations. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning ability: Ability to use common sense and sound judgment to deal with situations and multiple problems that occur simultaneously in a highly controlled and regulated environment. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Availability: Must be available to workdays, evenings, weekends, nights or holidays and to be away from home for extended periods of time. Must be available to travel to domestic and international locations without restrictions, including entrance onto foreign military bases.
Must be able to pass a post-hire fingerprint-based criminal history records check with no disqualifying criminal offenses.

Airframe and PowerPlant License (Required for L382)
Flight Engineer Certificate Turbopropeller Rating or Current Flight Engineer Turbopropeller

A post conditional offer of employment drug test and background investigation is required.
