Making cotton candy is a relatively simple process, but the process can be the most interesting thing in the world to our customers. We have the responsibility to make the best cotton candy we can for them.
Responsibilities: Spin cotton candy on the machine at festivals and events. Sculpt the cotton candy to look as pretty as you can. Capable to work on weekends. Help is most needed on Saturday primarily from 10-5, but those hours will change depending on the festival times. Help keep the work area clean Comply with health and safety regulations. Take orders and process payments.
Our ideal candidate: Be able to understand and implement instructions. Be comfortable standing for long periods of time. Be able to have transportation to the various locations the events are held. Live around the Central Virginia area near Lynchburg, Roanoke, and/or Blacksburg.
Experience: No prior work experience is needed as everything you need to know to make cotton candy will be taught to you.
Pay: $15 per hour + Tips (Average around an extra $2-$5 per hour)
