Primary Responsibilities: This position is responsible for supporting production of custom aluminum extrusions used in ceiling perimeter systems by working in a teamwork cell to visually inspect, surface touch up, clean, bag and box product on pallets/crate in preparation for stock or shipment.

General Responsibilities:

• Work safely by demonstrating a commitment to safety, understand and follow safety instructions, training and procedures and report safety concerns immediately
• Report for work on time every day and complete a full shift
• Stand for extended periods of time
• Safely lift up to 40 pounds
• Understand and follow written and verbal work instructions
• Clean processed aluminum extrusion with a cleaning pad/rag soaked with cleaning solution/alcohol/acetone
• Visually inspect and spot-paint blemishes and surface defects with paint pen/brush/aerosol.
• Place extrusion/installation parts in plastic bag
• Place bagged material in box according to packing instructions, tape box shut and place on pallet
• Keep work area and floor clean and orderly
• Work well within assigned team/work cell
• Work at a pace that contributes to achievement of daily production goals
• Flexible/adaptable to assignment changes, will jump in when help is needed and learn new things
• Cross-train to build skills and contribute to achieving production and order delivery goals
• Back-up other areas as needed
• Work overtime as needed, even if not scheduled in advance
• Other duties as assigned
