Job Description:

Bickel's Snacks Food in York, PA is now seeking a Warehouse Associate for 2nd shift.
Performs material handling assignments by safely operating a forklift. Identifies and transports materials according to load tickets.

Responsibilities:
Efficient and timely receiving, shipping, storing, transferring and inventory control of all goods and products in the warehouseOperate forklift transferring loaded pallets to, from, and within storage areas, slot areas, production lines, and trucks in a safe mannerCheck merchandise/products prior to shipping or receiving to ensure accuracy of items, quantity, and conditionAssist in the loading and unloading of trucks and ensure that same is conducted in a manner that prevents damage of goodsEnsure that goods received in damaged form are reported to Quality Assurance Manager and Logistics ManagerCheck and maintain daily pre and post trip of all vehicles and equipment operatedRotate stock to ensure ingredient usage prior to expiration date on a first in/first out basisPick customer orders using RF scannersStation material required for next days production, as directed by the Logistics ManagerAssist in maintaining inventory control and report substandard level of products to the Warehouse LeadpersonEnsure accurate figures are provided for the monthly inventory and year-end auditsRepresent the Company in a positive manner when interacting with external personnelPosition requires the physical ability to perform heavy liftingReport any mechanical or safety problems to the Logistics ManagerEnsure work area is kept clean in accordance with good housekeeping practicesAdhere to common safety practices and rules including the wearing of protective equipment as requiredAdhere to Spring Glens plant hygiene regulations to ensure high product integrityResponsible for following food safety, legality and quality policies and procedures within the scope of the job responsibilities such as but not limited to: GMPs, HACCP, safety, product quality, food security, plant security, etc.Perform other duties as assigned by the Logistics Manager
