Position Summary
The Smokehouse BBQ and Brews Server is responsible for the warm friendly table service and dining experience of the guest. Presents dining options, serves the guests, and provides area information in a friendly, professional, and quick manner. We currently have part-time openings for servers for any shift working during the day, evenings, and weekends.Potential earnings for this position is $29to $39 per hour based on actual employee earnings but not guaranteed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Must be 18 years of agePerform opening and closing procedures per company guidelinesPresent dining options and makes recommendations based on guest interactionTake order (food, beverage, and alcohol)Maintain complete knowledge of the restaurant's food and beverage preparationClearing and resetting tablesChecking identification of guests to ensure they are of legal age to consume alcoholic beverages; refusing to serve beverages in a polite manner to guests who are not of legal ageObserving guests' behavior once they have consumed alcoholic beverage, counting number of drinks served, and offering a taxi if you feel they should not drive; asking a manager for help with disorderly guestsif neededProvide timely, friendly table service throughout the mealCreate, present and settle guest checks via point of sale systemWrap silverware unitsInteract with guests from start to finish and provide relevant restaurant and area information to ensure positive dining experienceCommunicate and work as team with other servers, busser, and host to bus and set tables and plan reservationsMaintain neat, clean and safe server station work area and dining room seating areaMaintain verbal communication with team members and managementOther duties as directed
