We are seeking an IT Infrastructure Network Manager to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of PBGC's network and telephony infrastructure. You will ensure seamless connectivity, enhance network security, and provide robust support for both internal and remote communication. As part of PBGC's IT Infrastructure Operations Department, this role involves managing a complex network environment across multiple data centers and cloud resources to support the mission-critical IT infrastructure of over 33 million American workers' retirement plans.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

* Provide end-to-end network and telephony services, ensuring secure, high-performance networks.

* Manage and maintain LANs at all PBGC physical locations, ensuring high availability.

* Configure and maintain network switches, routers, and load balancers for traffic distribution.

* Administer DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management systems.

* Create network drawings, visualizing network architecture, external connectivity, and security devices.

* Produce weekly reports of IP addresses and monthly VPN and IP reports to track network performance and security.

* Maintain internal wired/wireless and remote network connectivity, ensuring compliance with PBGC policies.

* Troubleshoot and manage network issues, ensuring that unauthorized devices do not gain access.

* Support telephony infrastructure, including voicemail services, electronic fax lines, and call accounting.

* Oversee emergency 911 call testing in coordination with public safety services.

* Implement and maintain a virtual wallboard for contact center performance monitoring.

* Ensure regular backups of telephony infrastructure devices are performed and maintained.

Education & Experience

* B.S. in a relevant IT discipline (desired)

* 15+ years of experience managing network infrastructure and telephony systems (desired)

Certifications

* ITIL v4 (Required)

* Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) OR Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)

* DevSecOps Foundations (Required to be obtained upon hire.)
