Job Responsibilities:

• Efficiently repair breakdowns to maintain production across all facility areas.


• Perform preventative maintenance to support fast-paced production operations.


• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic/hydraulic issues on all plant equipment.


• Complete work orders promptly and to the highest quality standards.


• Communicate effectively between shifts, ensuring detailed log book entries.


• Accurately and efficiently troubleshoot equipment problems.


• Adhere to company safety and GMP policies/guidelines in all tasks.


• Support the plant's Continuous Improvement Program.


• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements:

• Strong oral and written communication skills.


• Ability to work effectively with department managers, line operators, quality assurance personnel, and contractors.


• High School Diploma or equivalent.


• Completion of an industrial technologies certificate program is preferred.


• 3-5 years of progressive technical experience in an industrial manufacturing environment, preferably in the meat industry.


• Knowledge of safety policies and procedures for safe equipment operation.


• TIG welding on stainless steel is a plus.


• Competency in arc and gas welding.


• Experience with high-speed packaging and processing equipment.


• Electrical knowledge and experience are advantageous.
