Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Administrative Assistant to support our payroll department. This role involves ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, maintaining records, and providing administrative support to the HR and payroll teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in processing payroll for employees in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Maintain employee payroll records and update as necessary
Manage Key Time entries and verify accuracy of time records
Run payroll reports to ensure data accuracy and compliance
Update and change tax information for employees as needed
Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues
Help prepare payroll reports and other documents as needed
Reconcile payroll discrepancies and assist with audits
Support the payroll department with various administrative tasks
Ensure confidentiality and security of payroll data
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in payroll or HR is a plus
1-2 years of payroll or administrative experience
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
Familiarity with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paycom) is an advantage
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
