We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our manufacturing company. This role will report directly to the Finance Director and will be crucial in providing financial insights, performing detailed financial analysis, and making recommendations to our senior leadership team. The Senior Financial Analyst will play a vital role in improving our operations by analyzing costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and the company's actual performance compared to its business plans.
Job Responsibilities:
Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision making.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
Conduct business studies on past, future and comparative performance and develop forecasts.
Develop recommendations to senior management on financial performance.
Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Identify trends and make recommendations for improvement.
Participate in budgeting processes.
Analyze complex financial information to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes.
Inventory analysis and reporting.
Project management around projects and strategic initiatives as requested by senior leaders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field.
A minimum of 4 years of experience in an FP&A or blended accounting/finance position. Manufacturing industry experience is a must
Experience with SAP is a must
Demonstrated ability for financial modeling and report building.
Strong experience in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, a persistent drive for problem-solving.
Able to multi-task and manage competing deadlines effectively.
Ability to work collaboratively across departmental functions.
Strong knowledge of financial analysis, forecasting, strategic planning, and budgeting.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
