Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze healthcare data and informatics to evaluate risks, develop models, and project trends.
- Assist in the development of pricing, reserving, and risk management strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, underwriting, and healthcare professionals, to support business objectives.
- Prepare and present actuarial reports and recommendations to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Perform predictive modeling to support decision-making and policy development.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging healthcare regulations.
Qualifications:
- Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) certification is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
- 3+ years of actuarial experience, with a focus on healthcare informatics.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in actuarial software and statistical tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment.
