Job Description:

Recovery Unplugged owns and operates multiple Substance Abuse and Behavioral Health Treatment facilities across the United States. We are headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We are currently seeking a Financial Operations Analysis to join our Finance Team at our Fort Lauderdale, FL Headquarters. This is a newly created role and we are looking to fill the role immediately. This role reports to the VP of Finance for our Company and will play a key role on our finance team.

Role Summary:

First and foremost, we're looking to modernize our finance function. This will be a unique role that will include a blend of process automation and data analysis projects in addition to daily tasks. We're looking for an intellectually curious candidate who is excited to adapt to new technologies and help us implement them throughout our finance function. Experience with Python, SQL or data processing tools such as Power Query or Alteryx are not required but are an added bonus!

Additionally, this individual will be responsible for certain more traditional accounting and finance tasks, including preparing financial statements, working directly within Quickbooks, performing various reconciliation. However, our expectation is that this candidate has intellectual curiosity to always look for ways to improve our processes!

Duties/Responsibilities: This is a fluid role, and duties and responsibilities may change on a periodic basis.
• Help document current processes within the finance function, identify areas of improvement, and implement plans to drive change
• Assist the VP of Finance on various data analytics projects to help drive organizational strategy
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements
• Assist with maintaining the general ledger, reconciling accounts, and performing month end close
• Performs basic treasury functions, including initiating bank transfers and reconciling cash on a daily basis
• Assist with preparing tax reports
• Assist with the AP function
• Provides outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:
• Passion for constant improvement - including a willingness to learn new systems, leverage advanced data tools, and be willing to voice new idea
• Proficient with QuickBooks Online (booking entries, reporting, etc.) or proven ability to quickly master new software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly strong excel skills.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, required.
• 2-3 years of related experience required.
