Job Description:
Plant Controller Responsibilities
- Handle product costing, standard cost setting, BOMs, inventory counts, valuation, and variance analysis.
- Act as the primary point of contact for cost accounting matters, supporting and advising the leadership team.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis, KPI reporting, and provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Engage with supply chain, manufacturing, and senior leadership to develop and maintain internal relationships.
- Maintain high levels of engagement with the broader business to ensure alignment and integration of cost accounting functions.
Plant Controller Qualifications
- Must have manufacturing or directly related industry experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field; MBA, CPA, or CMA a plus.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience with standard costing, variance analysis, and production variances.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills (pivots, lookups, formulas, etc.).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
