Position Overview:

The Manager - Financial Planning and Analysis- Alside will be responsible for driving financial performance through effective budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and strategic analysis. This individual will work closely with division leadership, cross-functional teams, and corporate finance to provide insightful analysis, improve financial processes and ensure alignment with the company's overall strategic goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting processes for Alside, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and objectives.
  • Analyze results to identify opportunities for improvement and partner with the business to drive improvements.
  • Prepare detailed financial analysis, reports, presentations and recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Lead and mentor a FP&A professional, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Lead efforts to improve financial forecasting accuracy, streamline reporting processes, and enhance financial visibility across the division.
  • Drive the development of key performance indicators and track and monitor performance.
  • Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis as required.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis.
  • Experience working on cross functional teams
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and financial modeling.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with tools such as Hyperion, Oracle or PowerBI is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Employees will also receive a minimum of eight hours of vacation time every month and 10 paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
  1. The New Years Eve Holiday may be observed in current or subsequent year depending on the day it falls.
  2. Individual departments or functions that need to deviate from the above schedule due to operating requirements will do so on an as needed basis.
  3. Employees who are subject to a Collective Bargaining Agreement will follow the holiday schedule provided in the CBA.
  • Other Compensation may include, but is not limited to, bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation that would be offered to the hired applicant in addition to their established salary range or wage scale.
