Job Summary
We are hiring a Senior Accountant who is looking for a challenging accounting leader role in a fast-growing SaaS company. This Senior Accountant is responsible for the day-to-day operations and plays a key role in MTech Systems finance team.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform month-end closing, prepare journal entries, reconcile inter-company transactions, review account balances, and report in the parent company's consolidation systems
Supervise and assist closing activities performed by the team members
Provide accounting guidance on the daily accounting activities performed by the team members
Prepare internal control documentation and respond to quarterly internal control questionnaire required by the parent company
Prepare requested documents and assists internal and external audits
Process accounts payable transactions and enter the transactions on the company's credit card
Improve accounting and operational process
Own full closing process
Requirements
Four-year college degree in accounting or equivalent
CPA or CPA track preferred
2-4 years of work experience in corporate accounting
Strong working knowledge in US GAAP or IFRS, including full understanding on financial statements, income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statements
Excellent work ethics, strong attention to detail and commitment to meet deadlines
Possess an intuitive and numbers-focused skill set with sharp critical thinking skills
Strong technical, analytical, communications, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite. Advanced Excel skills are a must
Experience in financial audit
