Akkodis is seeking a IT Project Managerposition with a client located in McLean, VA OR Plano, TX (Hybrid) . Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in the financial services industry.
Pay Range: $70-74/hr. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Title: IT Project Manager
Location: McLean, VA OR Plano, TX (Hybrid) Tues, Wed, Thurs, Mon & Fri remote
Duration: 3 months (with possible extension)
Job Description:
5+ years of software management experience, leading other managers
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; advanced/studies degree preferred
Experience in directing a team of 20+ IT professionals and developing partnerships across multiple business areas concurrently to deliver complicated technology solutions.
Experience and knowledge of Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), modern architectures, development languages (Java, JavaScript, Python), DevSecOps
Experience with SaaS implementations
Experience with Agile development and product teams
-Running complex projects with small-size budget and scope spanning across several systems
-Running projects using software development life cycle (SDLC), agile methodology, Application Maintenance Change Process (AMCP) and project management life cycle (PMLC)
Strong experience in project management processes:
-Budget management and resource management
-Communication
-Risk management
-Scope and change request management
-Schedule management
- Internal controls and quality management • Excellent communication, influencing and collaboration skills • Good organization, presentation and customer service
