As the Vice President of Sales for Hall's Culligan Water you will play a critical role in driving sales growth and enhancing the overall customer journey across our California dealerships. We are seeking a dynamic and innovative leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional results while fostering a customer-centric culture. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership, a deep understanding of customer-focused strategies, and the ability to spearhead continuous improvement initiatives that elevate both sales performance and customer satisfaction.

Establishing a high-performing sales team that is equally committed to these values requires a leader who is dedicated to operational excellence and customer service. In this key role, you will collaborate closely with the California Area Manager to set and achieve ambitious sales targets, all while driving strategies that enhance the customer experience. Your insights, creativity, and leadership will be instrumental in shaping our sales approach and aligning it with our long-term goals.

This role will be based in California and will require extensive travel to ensure strong relationships with teams across the state and to maintain a hands-on approach to leadership at our various dealership locations.

Responsibilities:



  • Sales Leadership:


    • Provide strategic leadership to the sales team, setting clear goals and objectives.

    • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share growth.

    • Foster a high-performance culture within the sales team, promoting collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

    • Implement performance metrics and touch base regularly to ensure individual and team goals are met.

    • Provide oversight and accountability for all sales activities




  • Market Expansion:

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's presence in the water purification market.

    • Keep apprised of market trends and develop plans to address risk and opportunities.

    • Develop and nurture key relationships with potential clients, partners, and stakeholders.




  • Team Development:

    • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales team.

    • Provide coaching and mentorship to sales professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.




  • Strategic Planning:

    • Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute sales strategies aligned with the overall business objectives.




  • Customer Relationship Management:

    • Cultivate strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

    • Collaborate with other departments to address customer concerns and enhance overall customer experience. 




  • Sales Forecasting and Reporting:

    • Develop accurate sales forecasts and reports for executive leadership, providing insights into market trends, performance, and opportunities. 

    • Utilize data-driven approaches to make informed decisions and optimize sales processes.

Basic Qualifications:


  • Excellent presentation, oral and written communication skills. 

  • Extensive travel will be required throughout the southern California region. After the introductory period is complete, travel will be dependent based on candidate's location.

  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check, pre-employment drug screen, and posses a clean driving record. 

  • Familiarity with water purification or related industries is a plus!
