One of our Healthcare clients is looking for a Director of Risk Management to lead their risk management efforts, including SOX and MAR compliance, internal auditing, and ERM. This role will develop and execute strategies to manage and mitigate risks, ensuring regulatory compliance and fostering a strong risk-aware culture across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee ERM, SOX, and MAR compliance.
Develop and maintain internal controls and audit plans.
Coordinate audits and manage remediation efforts.
Collaborate with external auditors and present findings to senior management.
Lead and build a high-performing risk management team.
Implement risk management strategies and frameworks.
Conduct risk assessments and develop risk mitigation plans.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CIA, CISA).
10+ years in risk management and internal auditing, including 5+ years in leadership.
Expertise in risk management frameworks and regulatory requirements.
Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
Proficiency in risk management software (e.g., Coupa, AuditBoard).
Preferred:
Experience in healthcare or financial services.
Knowledge of Agile Internal Audit and data analytics in risk management.
