Job Summary

The Fiduciary Investment Risk Manager position for Advocacy Trust LLC ("AT") will support AT's President, CEO, and Trust Investment Committee ("TIC") with managing AT's fiduciary account investment management duties. The Fiduciary Investment Risk Manager will oversee AT's investment management and will report to the President and TIC. Additionally, the Fiduciary Investment Risk Manager will provide investment management support to the Special Assets Manager, Chief Revenue Officer, and Senior Trust Managers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage AT's investment management duties for all delegated trusts, including oversight of all outside delegated investment managers.
  • Develop and implement investment strategies to meet the needs of fiduciary account beneficiaries by carrying out the investment duties set forth in the appointing document (i.e. Will or Trust document).
  • Develop AT's Investment Policy Statements for delegated trusts.
  • Track reporting on directed trust arrangements.
  • Create strategic growth initiatives for AT's investment management responsibilities.
  • Act as Chair of the Trust Investment Committee, leading the investment process for delegated trust accounts to ensure delegated investment functions are properly executed.
  • Oversee all aspects of vendor management for all delegated investment managers for trust accounts, including initial approval by the Trust Investment Committee and annual vendor due diligence.
  • Coordinate initial and annual reviews of delegated trust accounts for completion and presentation to TIC. Review materials presented, including investment performance and adherence to TIC's desired investment strategies.
  • Monitor investment manager performance and the suitability of each implemented investment strategy.
  • Develop and manage the delegated investment manager oversight process, including monitoring the investment performance and strategy within each fiduciary delegated investment account.
  • Support the Trust Officer team with investment strategy assignments and assess ongoing suitability of the strategy for appropriate level of risk.
  • Assist in the sales process to discuss investment options as needed.
  • Remain current on market and economic conditions.
  • Assist with the day-to-day investment of account assets, including coordinating with Trust Officers and delegated investment managers regarding the investment of trust assets, preparing materials for the TIC, and communicating with trust clients and their counsel about investment matters that arise during the course of administration.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • Maintain a Chartered Financial Analyst ("CFA") designation.
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience with investment management responsibilities and strategies for fiduciary accounts.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience with SunGard Advantage or Fidelity IWS platforms is a plus.
  • Some travel required.
