Job Description:

The Vice President of Finance is a key executive role responsible for overseeing the company's financial operations, shaping its strategic direction, and driving improvements in financial performance. This leader will manage all accounting functions, ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, and provide critical input into strategic decision-making processes. The VP of Finance will work closely with the CEO and Board of Directors to align financial strategies with the company's goals and enhance overall financial health.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and oversee all accounting departments, including setting priorities, planning, and managing daily operations.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies that support the company's long-term goals and strategic plan.
  • Provide financial guidance and advice to senior leadership and various business units, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Ensure the accuracy, compliance, and timeliness of all internal and external financial reports.
  • Oversee financial audits, internal controls, tax preparation, and financial statement preparation.
  • Maintain rigorous financial controls and procedures to support high standards of governance and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process and manage periodic rolling forecasts.
  • Analyze financial performance, including variance analysis, and communicate insights and recommendations to management.
  • Conduct in-depth performance reviews, scenario planning, and root-cause analysis to drive strategic decisions.
  • Support subsidiaries with financial operations, including costing updates, inventory reserves, and performance reviews.
  • Drive innovative projects to streamline finance processes and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with HR on human capital planning, compensation benchmarking, and strategic resource allocation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, lenders, and capital markets.
  • Manage relationships with auditors, banks, and tax authorities to advance the company's objectives and ensure compliance.
  • Establish and maintain an enterprise risk management system to protect the company in various markets.

Qualifications:
  • 14+ years in finance, with substantial experience in financial planning, analysis, and management.
  • Experience working with global auditing firms required
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in accounting software, database software, and financial reporting tools.
  • Strong leadership, management, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Ability to build and scale financial systems for multi-country operations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • High integrity, dependability, and a results-oriented approach.

Additional Requirements:
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Proven ability to synthesize diverse inputs and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Must be willing to work onsite - M-F, 9am to 6pm
  • Ability, flexibility and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
