Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy and Planning:
  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Provide recommendations to optimize the organization's financial performance, profitability, and cash flow.
  • Assess and manage financial risks, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.

Financial Reporting and Analysis:
  • Prepare and present accurate, timely, and comprehensive financial reports to the executive team, board of directors, and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct thorough financial analysis, interpret data, and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and legal requirements.

Budgeting and Forecasting:
  • Lead the annual budgeting process and collaborate with department heads to develop realistic and achievable financial plans.
  • Monitor and review budget performance, identifying areas of concern and recommending corrective actions.
  • Provide guidance on financial forecasting, modeling, and scenario analysis.

Cash Management and Capital Structure:
  • Manage the organization's cash flow, working capital, and liquidity, ensuring optimal utilization of funds.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with financial institutions and stakeholders to secure financing and manage debt.
  • Evaluate capital structure and make recommendations to optimize capital raising activities

Risk Management:
  • Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard the company's assets and ensure compliance.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks, implementing risk management strategies and controls.
  • Monitor changes in economic, market, and regulatory environments, adapting financial strategies accordingly.

Team Leadership and Development:
  • Build and lead a high-performing finance team, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, promoting effective communication and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ensure the finance team operates with integrity, professionalism, and adherence to ethical standards.

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in a senior financial management role, preferably as a CFO or similar position.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial principles, regulations, accounting standards, and financial reporting.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize complex financial data and make informed decisions.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.
  • Excellent leadership abilities, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to align financial strategies with broader business objectives.
  • Proficient in financial software and systems, with the ability to leverage technology for financial analysis and reporting.
