We are currently seeking a Junior Loan Officer at our Maitland office. This role is perfect for someone who is looking to learn what it takes to become a self-generating Loan Officer. Our Junior Loan Officer program is designed to teach you everything you need to know to be successful in mortgage sales. During your time as a Junior Loan Officer, you will work directly with our Producing Managing Partners on a daily basis. We will provide you with leads, and you will learn how to prospect, develop, and operate in a system designed for maximum lead conversion. You will be responsible for pre-approving clients, updating referral partners, and being the main point of contact for transactions from start to finish.
This position will also give you the opportunity to work directly with our operations team to learn how to manage the back end of the transaction, including processing, underwriting, and closing. You will gain the experience and develop the tools needed to close deals, which is ultimately one of the most important aspects of being a Mortgage Loan Officer.
During your time as a Junior Loan Officer, your access to knowledge, resources, and expertise will enable you to become an expert in originating loans in a fraction of the time it would generally take if you were originating on your own. The experience will position you to develop into a self-generating loan officer and, as you duplicate the processes and system you learn with us, you will grow your own team and as a result grow your volume and compensation. There is no ceiling in mortgage sales, you can go as far as your motivation, dedication, and work ethic will take you.
Ideal Qualifications
1-2 years sales experience, especially in the mortgage industry as a Loan Officer Assistant, Loan Partner, Jr. Loan Officer, or Loan Officer
Experience working with all conforming loan types(Fannie, Freddie, FHA/VA/USDA)
Experience working with Arive is a plus
Positive, upbeat, go-getter attitude
Self motivated and highly analytical
Bilingual(Spanish) Preferred

High School Diploma or GED
Must currently be licensed as a Mortgage Loan Originator, or be able and willing to become licensed
