Job Overview:
Vylla Home is seeking an experienced State Broker of Record for Ohio. This role is vital to ensuring compliance with state-specific regulations and maintaining the integrity of our real estate transactions. The position serves as a key advisor on state matters, working closely with our regional leadership to uphold compliance standards and support our agents. This role is designed to provide essential oversight at the state level, with a focus on regulatory adherence rather than day-to-day management.
Key Responsibilities: • Compliance Management: Partner with Vylla Home's regional leadership to ensure all sales transactions comply with Ohio state regulations, federal laws, and company policies. • Transaction Oversight: Support agents and leadership in maintaining accurate and compliant records within the company's transaction management system. • Regulatory Updates: Monitor and implement changes to forms, MLS guidelines, and state regulations, ensuring Vylla Home's policies and procedures remain current. • Local Expertise: Provide state-specific guidance and knowledge to agents and teams, assisting with complex transactions and compliance questions. • Dispute Resolution: Assist in mediating and resolving disputes between clients or brokerages, ensuring adherence to ethical standards and regulatory requirements. • Broker Supervision: Under the direction of regional leadership, provide the necessary state-mandated supervision to Vylla Home's Ohio-based real estate agents. • Market Insight: Stay informed about local market trends and industry best practices, contributing to strategic decision-making. • Agent Support: Aid in regional agent recruitment and retention efforts, fostering a positive and growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications: • Licensing: Must hold a valid Ohio broker's license, qualifying you to serve as the state's principal broker. • Experience: A minimum of five years of experience as a real estate broker, with a strong track record in compliance and transaction oversight.
