The technique targets specific nerves near the kidneys that can become overactive and cause high blood pressure, also known as hypertension. High blood pressure is a global epidemic, affecting one-third to one-half of adults. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing team that is responsible for introducing this new therapy and Medtronic's Symplicity Blood Pressure Procedure that will potentially transform healthcare in the United States. Renal Denervation (RDN) has the potential to be a multibilliondollar market globally over the next five years. We are hiring a Sr. Program Marketing Specialist to be part of our expanding US Customer Education and Programs team as we continue to roll-out the launch of this novel therapy. Your role will be to manage peer-to-peer education supporting our RDN Symplicity Blood Pressure Procedure. You will manage established programs and have the opportunity to develop new offerings that support the development of this new market. A DAY IN THE LIFE:


  • Manage execution of the established Symplicity Blood Pressure Procedure Speaker Program series: in-person peer to peer programs, national broadcasts and IDN (Integrated Delivery Network) offerings.

  • Support field sales reps and market development specialists on execution of programmatic offerings.

  • Liaise with HCP faculty to ensure on-label messaging and coordination of event.

  • Responsible for compliance and documentation for programs.

  • Project manage and gain approvals for associated content and materials required to support customer education and programs.

  • Work with internal partners to develop promotional items.

  • Collaborate with HCP faculty and internal stakeholders to develop topic specific content and webinars to support current educational needs.

  • Build strong understanding of existing barriers to adoption of the Symplicity Blood Pressure Procedure and determine what customer education and new programs (or evolutions) are needed to support launch acceleration.

  • Travel required to support Programs, Conferences, POA Meetings, Rep Training.

  • Ability to travel as needed, up to 20% of the time.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum:


  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 5+ years of experience in Program Management,Marketing, Sales, or Customer Education role in a medical device or healthcare industry (3+ years with Advanced Degree)

Preferred:


  • Masters or other Advanced Degree

  • Content Development experience for HCPs

  • US marketing experience in complex matrix business structure

  • Ability to synthesize clinical data and technical information

  • Previous experience interacting with internal teams, sales force, senior management and customers

  • Digital Marketing experience

  • Market Development experience

  • Presentation skills

  • Experience with Salesforce.com

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$90,400.00 - $135,600.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
