About Us:
A dynamic and growing publicly traded medical device company with $25M in revenue, is looking to continue to expand and is seeking a talented and driven Manager, FP&A to be the first hire in the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role reporting directly to the CFO, where you will play a key role in supporting the entire organization.
Position Overview:
The Manager, FP&A will maintain ownership of the financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis functions for the company.
They will be responsible for the overall annual operating plan (AOP) process and quarterly forecast cycles, partnering with budget owners to develop and maintain detailed budgets and forecasts. This role will utilize financial and non-financial data sources, including ERP systems and Salesforce, to identify and integrate key financial and operational KPIs, driving business insights and actionable recommendations.
The initial focus will be on developing a process and cadence for periodic revenue forecast updates within each quarter, leveraging pipeline data to track progress toward quarterly targets.
Expected to develop reporting that integrates data from various financial sources, providing clear and comprehensive views of financial performance against AOP and prior forecasts.
Key responsibilities include developing revenue and pipeline reports, department spending reports, quarterly consolidated management reports, and Board-level presentations.
Key Responsibilities:
Build out and implement the FP&A function from the ground up.
Lead the AOP process and quarterly forecast cycles.
Develop processes for revenue forecasting and pipeline tracking.
Create and present financial reports, including revenue, pipeline, and department spending reports.
Collaborate with the CFO and senior leadership to support strategic initiatives.
Participate in the potential implementation, integration, and migration of IT systems to accommodate company growth.
Handle special projects such as acquisition due diligence and financial modeling for new business initiatives.
Ensure alignment between financial goals and business objectives.
Qualifications:
5-10 years of experience in FP&A, Strategic Finance, or a similar role, preferably in a publicly traded technology or medical device company.
Strong financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting skills.
Ability to distill complex financial information into a narrative that drives decision-making.
Collaborative attitude with the ability to establish solid partnerships across all levels of the organization.
Experience with ERP systems, Salesforce, and familiarity with planning systems.
Prior experience with accounting responsibilities, global company operations, and multiple entities/ledgers is a plus.
Proficient in NetSuite and Priority is a plus.
Willingness to work in a hybrid environment (3 days a week in the office).
