Job Overview:

As the Director of Growth Marketing at Case Status, you will be responsible for driving customer acquisition and revenue retention through innovative and data-driven marketing strategies. You will play a crucial role in expanding our market presence, driving revenue growth, and positioning Case Status as the go-to platform for client experience in the legal industry. This is a high-impact role that requires a deep understanding of digital marketing, lead generation, and customer lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Growth Planning and Forecasting: Develop and execute a comprehensive growth marketing strategy and GTM that supports revenue and pipeline growth targets
  • Demand Generation: Responsible for and Leading inbound and outbound marketing efforts, including all aspects of lead generation including but not limited to email marketing, syndication, affiliate marketing, paid media, and social media to generate qualified leads and increase conversion rates.
  • Performance Marketing: Manage performance marketing channels to optimize for ROI, working with advertising platforms like Google Ads, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize analytics tools (Google Analytics, HubSpot, etc.) to monitor campaign performance, generate insights, and make informed decisions to drive growth. Assist in the creation of the content and reports to support the CMO in communicating the story of our growth performance to the CEO and Board
  • Customer Marketing: Assist in the growth and optimization of the Customer Channel for referrals and upgrades
  • Partner Marketing: Assist in the growth and development of marketing in our partner ecosystem
  • Collaborative Leadership: Work closely with cross-functional teams including product, sales, and customer success to align marketing initiatives with company goals.
  • Growth Experiments: Design and execute A/B tests and growth experiments to identify new opportunities for growth and scaling. All must include measurable goals and data to support success and failures
  • Brand Positioning: Strengthen Case Status's market positioning by enhancing brand awareness and authority in the legal tech space.
  • Budget Management: Assist the CMO with creation and management of the Growth marketing budgets, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently for maximum impact.
  • Content Marketing: Collaborate with the content team to create compelling content that drives engagement and supports demand-generation efforts.
  • SEO and SEM: Oversee SEO and SEM strategies to increase organic and paid search visibility.

Qualifications:

  • Required Experience: 10+ years of experience in growth or demand marketing in SaaS or Software is a must, Strongly preferred with some working for a legal technology company.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a strong plus.

Skills:
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful growth strategies and growth hacking.
  • Strong hands-on understanding of digital marketing channels and tactics.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to work with and interpret data and make data-driven decisions and use data to explain successes and failures
  • Hands-on style with a proven track record of developing and executing successful ABM strategies
  • Extensive experience with marketing to technical laggards
  • Expertise in multi-channel marketing, including paid advertising, content marketing, social media, email marketing, and events
  • Experience with account segmentation and persona-based marketing
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the potential to oversee individuals in the future
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including executive comms
  • Leadership experience with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Some experience with Marketing Operations a plus

Where:

Case Status is based in Charleston, SC. The candidate must be in-office 2 days per week at minimum. This is a hybrid role, although the expectation is that the candidate will be in the office more often until the ramp period is over and has demonstrated proficiency in the role. There is not a relocation package for this role.
