Job Description:

Summary (Position Description): As the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing marketing initiatives for three distinct business units within the BITZER Group of Companies. You will work closely with Sales and Engineering to develop and implement marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth across all business units. This includes marketing campaigns, marketing needs for product development, tradeshow coordination, industry conference events related to marketing, case studies and other marketing materials related to training support (internal and external.) This position is also responsible for reporting return on investment (ROI) related to tradeshows, customer events, and training activities. These marketing functions will help to achieve the company objectives while also ensuring a consistent marketing message and positioning for the BITZER Group of Companies.

Status: Full time, Salary Exempt

Duties & Tasks:

  • Plan and execute both virtual and in-person events, overseeing all logistical aspects and promotional strategies. (30%)
  • Manage the creation of marketing collateral, such as advertising materials, product brochures, and website content to achieve business objectives, including brand positioning, product launches, and promotional campaigns. (30%)
  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans to achieve business objectives, including brand positioning, product launches, and other marketing campaigns. (20%)
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of marketing initiatives (customer events, tradeshows, trainings) and make recommendations as needed. (10%)
  • Oversee digital marketing efforts, including social media, email marketing, and SEO strategies. (10%)
  • Develop a comprehensive strategy for participating in trade shows and events, aligned with overall marketing and business objectives.
  • Identify relevant industry events and trade shows that present opportunities for brand exposure, lead generation, and networking.
  • Determine the appropriate level of investment and resources required for each event based on expected ROI and audience demographics.
  • Handle all logistical aspects of trade show and event participation, including booth selection, space reservation, equipment shipping, and on-site setup.
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of booth materials, signage, promotional items, and equipment.
  • Arrange travel accommodations, transportation, and hospitality arrangements for staff attending trade shows and events.
  • Oversee the production of booth graphics, displays, signage, and promotional materials, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and messaging.
  • Plan interactive elements, demonstrations, and presentations to showcase products or services and engage with visitors effectively.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand their marketing requirements and provide support in creating effective collateral, presentations, and materials that specifically cater to our audience (OEMs, Specifying Engineers, Contractors, End Users).
  • Create written case studies and/or video content with guidance from Sales team.
  • Gain and develop customer insights to better strengthen the relevancy of marketing materials.
  • Lead marketing efforts in new product development, ensuring timely completion of marketing deliverables and content.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Engineering to align customer needs with product features, managing changes and life cycles through updated marketing documentation.

  • Proficiency with online marketing and social media strategy
  • Experience in establishing and managing budgets.

Requirements:

  • This position may require up to 20% travel.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field

Work Environment:

  • This job is performed in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. The overall business is a manufacturing environment and at times may have to go into the manufacturing area wear proper PPE is required.

Physical Demands:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; bend; stoop; use hands; and reach with hands and arms. May be required to lift up to 25 pounds.
