Job Description:

Specialties in one or more of the following: site work, excavations, earthwork, utilities, heavy highway, and bridgework, demolition, installation, and maintenance services.


This is a great opportunity for an individual who has 2-7 years of estimating experience in heavy civil construction.


Looking for someone with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn, driven, works well with others and is hard-working. This is an on-premise in-person position.


Responsibilities:


Junior estimator is to prepare detailed takeoffs, assist price preparation using HCSS. This position will work with experienced senior staff.

• Quality / reliable estimate takeoff


• Work with senior estimators and others that will mentor, teach and guide


• Disciplines will be within utility, excavation, earthwork, site work, substructure concrete, superstructure concrete, structural steel, foundation/ pile work, architectural work etc.


• Follows procedure guidelines successfully.


• Assisting, calling to review quotations from suppliers / subcontractors


• Software used (HCSS) creating estimates, structure and quotes.


• Bid packages with Addenda


• Preparing bid submission packages


• Bachelor degree in Civil or Construction OR Equivalent working experience
