Faculty Appt Period: Job Summary: The Human Performance and Nutrition Research Institute (HPNRI) at Oklahoma State University is seeking a dedicated and innovative Outreach Coordinator to advance community health and wellness by translating scientific information into engaging educational content. This role is crucial for developing and disseminating health education materials, leveraging digital platforms, and acting as a knowledge broker to foster partnerships that enhance community engagement and health literacy. The Outreach Coordinator will report to the Associate Director of Outreach and Engagement and collaborate with HPNRI researchers, scientists, specialists, and Project ECHO team members to develop best practices, educational tools, and experiences for target audiences, focusing on educational initiatives that align with HPNRI goals and objectives. Special Instructions to Applicants Education & Experience Position Qualifications:


Minimum Qualifications: 


Master's degree in Health Education, Public Health, Nutrition, Exercise Science, Communications, or a related field.


At least two years of experience in education, health promotion, community outreach, or a related role.

Strong understanding of preventive health, wellness, and lifestyle change principles.Proven experience in creating digital health content and managing social media campaigns.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to act as a knowledge broker, facilitating collaboration and information exchange among diverse stakeholders.Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms for education and outreach.Strong organizational and project management skills.


Preferred Qualifications:


Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) preferred.
