Job Description:

The Delaware Transit Corporation (DTC) has an immediate opening for an Accounting Supervisor located at its Dover, DE office.  The Accounting Supervisor is responsible for supervising staff in the functional areas of payroll and benefits. Responsibilities include complex analysis, financial reporting and other tasks requiring a broad knowledge of accounting theories, principles, and practices.  The position provides advice, analytical research, and related assistance; and drafts, recommends and implements policies and procedures for process improvement. Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and state/federal regulations and significant experience in accounting within a large corporation or the public sector is important.
