Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist with a strong background in operations. This role will balance human resource management with operational responsibilities to support business objectives and ensure smooth day-to-day activities across the company. The HR Generalist will be responsible for full-cycle HR activities, employee relations, compliance, and various operational tasks related to process improvement.



Location: Sacramento, CA



Pay Rate: 28.00-33.00 hourly (DOE)



Responsibilities:



  • Administer all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.

  • Serve as a key point of contact for employee relations, conflict resolution, and fostering a positive work environment.

  • Ensure company compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including EEOC, FMLA, ADA, and workers' compensation.

  • Lead initiatives related to employee engagement, training, and development.

  • Conduct regular audits of HR files and systems to ensure data accuracy and compliance.



  • Collaborate with the operations team to improve workflows, manage resources, and drive performance improvements.

  • Assist in budget planning and financial forecasting related to operations and HR.

  • Lead cross-functional projects to streamline processes and optimize performance.

  • Provide insights on operational efficiencies and implement solutions that align with business goals.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

  • 2-3+ years of experience in an HR generalist role.

  • Proven knowledge of HR principles, best practices, and employment laws.

  • Strong experience with process improvement and operational workflows.

  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
