Job Description:

Information Services Client is seeking an IT Operations Analyst for a 15 month remote contract.



Up to $63.33/hr W2 only



Responsibilities:



  • Design and implement IT automation for service delivery.

  • Enhance monitoring and alerting systems using events, metrics, and log analytics.

  • Implement automated CI/CD pipelines.

  • Drive DevOps adoption within waterfall-centric teams.

  • Monitor cloud applications/services using Microsoft tools.

  • Collaborate with development teams for scalable and resilient software in the cloud.

  • Deploy and automate services on Azure and private clouds.

  • Act as a gatekeeper for production changes and deployments.

  • Provide support for production infrastructure and ITSM control structures.

Experience and Key Skills:



  • Experience: 3+ years in IT as a System Administrator or DevOps Engineer.

  • Scripting: Proficiency in PowerShell; knowledge of Python preferred.

  • Cloud Experience: Familiarity with public/private cloud environments, particularly Azure.

  • Operating Systems: Experience with Linux and Windows Server.

  • Azure Skills: Knowledge of Azure services, including ILB, AppGateways, Traffic Managers, and Azure DevOps.

  • Application Deployment: Experience with IIS, Azure Service Environments, and deployment tools like Azure DevOps and Octopus.

  • Networking: Understanding of networking tools and troubleshooting.

  • Certifications: ITIL, Azure Certified preferred.

Soft Skills:



  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Client-service orientation and ability to collaborate across levels.

Education:



  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
