As a key leader of the Fixed Operations product team, the Dir, Product Management is responsible for defining the Parts Solutions product portfolio roadmap and executing on product vision & strategy, while executing plans that meets growth and profitable targets. CDK Parts Solutions is a critical component within Fixed Operations: Parts Solutions verifies orders before ship and tracks them from the moment received to when loaded onto the delivery truck, improving efficiency and accuracy of CDK customers' inventory and deliveries.


As the Dir, Product Management - Parts, one is responsible for, however not limited to the following essential functions and responsibilities:


  • Define and drive adoption of Parts product line, achieve target NPS scores.

  • Build a world-class product management team, driving team goals & development plans, demonstrated in engagement scores and achievement of target Objectives and Key Results.

  • Create full-life cycle portfolio plan, executing on new products through end-of-life (EOL).

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, support, and product marketing to accelerate time-to-value (TTV) for customers and time-to-revenue (TTR) for CDK by managing the full lifecycle.

  • Thought leader in industry on product domain and product management function, providing leadership & direction through product managers.

  • Define and drive roadmap of Parts portfolio, owning the performance & results of the Parts portfolio.

  • Participates in the creation & executes business plan. Contributes to the development of functional strategy (hiring, process, development.

  • Decisions are guided by functional or major operational segment strategy and priorities.

  • Articulate and present market trends, demand drivers, and competitive dynamics to inform product roadmap & priorities while integrating market research, persona research, usability studies to evolve existing products in market.

  • Drive initiatives to capture & implement customer requirements.




Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering or equivalent industry experience.

  • 10+ years of Product Management and/or equivalent experience in Enterprise SaaS, full lifecycle management.

  • Experience managing and influencing cross-functional, large teams.

  • Experience in Agile software/DevOps methodologies & working with globally distributed teams.

  • Excellent critical thinking skills; ability to make decision in dynamic environment.

  • Outstanding written & verbal communication skills - Must be comfortable presenting to senior level internal; stakeholders and external customers.

  • Must listen to understand; consider the points of view of others, collaborate, build consensus cross-functionally.

  • Strong financial acumen to support the development of business cases/monetization options.

  • Highly motivated 'go-getter' driven to achieve business results with the ability to remain positive & focused on delivering customer outcomes.

  • Experience in mentoring & growing product management expertise in teams using standard industry frameworks.

  • Proven track record in incubating new initiatives with successful product launches delivering market share growth.

  • Experience in driving partnerships & non-organic growth.

  • Travel up to 25% of time [this is a customer-facing product leader!]




Strongly Preferred Experience:



  • Advanced degree (i.e.: MBA, MA Computer Science, Engineering)

  • Automotive domain experience, particularly within Fixed Operations and better yet - automotive Parts

  • Pragmatic Institute Experience




Base Salary Range: $190,000 - $230,000
