Retail Store Manager Part Time at Pomegranate Inc in Lexington, Kentucky

Job Description:

Located in Lexington, Kentucky, Pomegranate Inc has been in business for over 30 years.  Pomegranate specializes in high-end, handmade table linens.  We are seeking enthusiastic, outgoing, experienced retail managers to join our first-ever flagship retail store here in Lexington. 

As the store manager you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our flagship retail store. Your role involves ensuring seamless coordination among sales staff to drive sales and maintain the store’s overall excellence. Roughly 25-30 hours/week at $20-25/hr

Key responsibilities:

*Supervise and train staff

Provide ongoing coaching and support to sales associates

Foster exceptional customer service, store maintenance and product promotion

*Strategic planning

Help develop and reach sales goals and targets

Develop and maintain employee schedules, aligning with holiday sales and events

Devise strategies to effectively promote the store, product line and services

*Inventory management

Maintain optimal inventory levels

Coordinate stocking and recommend plans

Regularly communicate with suppliers

*Cross training and productivity

Implement cross-training programs for employees and managers

Ensure up-to-date product knowledge for team

Ensure consistent productivity across the team

*Store presentation

Ensure the store remains clean, always organized and visually appealing

Ensure staff dress and behavior is consistent with brand image

*Recruitment and training

Hire and train new team members as needed to maintain excellent customer service

 

Qualifications:

• Minimum of two years of management experience in a retail environment

• Strong multitasking abilities

• Excellent prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment

• Proficiency in sales and customer service

• Availability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Flexibility with scheduling
