Job Description:

Our client is seeking a dedicated and innovative Technical Designer to join their team. This individual will play a crucial role in executing the technical design process from development to final fit. The ideal candidate will have a background in intimates/swimwear or solid technical design, with a focus on maintaining the highest standards of fit, comfort, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and evaluate garments to develop accurate fit specifications
- Collaborate closely with the design team to ensure design intent is met
- Develop technical specifications and communicate fit to vendors/factories for approvals and corrections
- Make necessary adjustments with factories to ensure integrity of design-approved prototypes
- Monitor quality and targeted price

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in technical design
- Experience in intimates/swimwear fitting is a plus
- Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations
- Strong problem-solving skills and flexibility
- Ability to work collaboratively and be open to new ways of working

The successful candidate will be approachable, empathetic, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. They will be agile and willing to go the extra mile to ensure the success of our client's team. This role is based 100% onsite at our client's location and will require fitting 1-2 times a week. The role is a temporary fill for an employee on leave, with a 40-hour work week.
