Job Description:

Location: Fort Worth, TX

Salary: Depends on Experience

Description: Our client is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst II


This job will have the following responsibilities:

  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of relevant guidance and regulatory documents to manage instrument qualifications and applications (e.g., LIMS, Chromeleon).


  • Participate in product and process investigations to ensure quality and safety standards are met.


  • Perform preventive maintenance and performance verification of instruments according to schedules and SOPs.


  • Troubleshoot instruments and support investigations as needed.


  • Write or review validation protocols and technical reports.


  • Review internal and external documents, providing recommendations as necessary.


  • Collect, calculate, interpret, document, and report test results following ALCOA principles.


  • Develop and maintain SOPs related to testing programs, laboratory operations, and equipment operation.


  • Manage instrument lifecycle, including procurement, qualification, in-use maintenance/calibration, performance review, and retirement.


  • Conduct investigative testing to support laboratory investigations and participate in root cause analysis.


  • Lead and document laboratory investigations, recommending corrective actions.


  • Perform and review equipment calibration and maintenance, acting as an instrument advocate.


  • Identify and qualify appropriate lab instrumentation purchases.


  • Conduct peer reviews and approve data collected by coworkers.


  • Lead laboratory initiatives and programs.


  • Train analysts on internal procedures and test methods.


  • Perform statistical analysis.


  • Utilize change control systems and manage inventory.


  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for critical processes and testing.


  • Lead day-to-day activities and act as a backup to the supervisor as needed.


  • Support tracking and reporting of laboratory performance metrics.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry preferred; Master's degree acceptable. PhD candidates are considered overqualified.

  • If no degree, a minimum of 10 years of lab experience is required.

  • Extensive lab experience is essential.

  • Ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English.

  • 2 years of demonstrated leadership.

  • Strong background in Chemistry.
