Job Description:
Location: Princeton, NJ
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Assistant Controller. This is a permanent, direct hire position offering a hybrid schedule in the Princeton, NJ area.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of financial actuals for legal entities.
- Collaborate with Financial Controllers, BU Finance colleagues, and business teams.
- Review integrity and quality of sub ledgers; prepare/review balance reconciliations.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain product costing in SAP; monitor and troubleshoot.
- Support BU in creating new CAPEX projects; monitor and close AUC accounts.
- Deliver documentation for accruals, provisions, and special items.
- Provide ad-hoc support in financial controlling activities.
- Assist in delivering information for external/internal audits.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience in manufacturing; cost accounting a plus.
- CPA and/or MBA preferred.
- SAP experience preferred.
- Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS accounting principles.
- Effective communication skills with external and internal stakeholders.
