Staff/Jr. Accountant at The Judge Group Inc. in Ramsey, New Jersey

Location: Ramsey, NJ

Salary: $30.00 USD Hourly - $38.00 USD Hourly

Description: Our client, a leading imaging firm is currently seeking a Staff/Jr. Accountant. This is a 6 month contract to hire with conversion salary range of $60,000-70,000.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


Position Responsibilities:


•Prepare and enter journal entries ex. payroll, commissions, etc.


•Bank statement reconciliation


•Enter and reconcile vendor invoices


•Create/maintain vendor master in SAP including W-9 forms


•Review and process expense reports in SAP/Concur


•Reconcile and enter corporate American Express cards


•Prepare month-end A/P related expense accrual journal entries


•Provide Accounting and P&L related support for reporting


•Reconcile balance sheet accounts including GRIR account


•Maintain fixed asset ledger


•Initiate wire & ACH payments for approval


•Assist Year-End Audits, Transfer Pricing Study documentation


•Assist sales/use tax compliance and audits


•Assist with JSOX audit


•Special Projects


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE


•Bachelor's Degree in Accounting preferable,


•2+ Years related work experience,


•Proficient in Excel and Word


•Knowledge of SAP a plus.


•Self-starter with ability to investigate and solve problems independently.


•Ability to manage multiple priorities and adhere to deadlines while maintaining accuracy.


•Must have good verbal and written communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with all levels of Management.


•Ability to work independently under tight reporting deadlines and/or in a team environment
