Role: Principal Engineer for Commercial Bank Generative AI Project


Responsibilities:

• Ramp up a team.


• Lead as the principal engineer.


• Define solutions, create project plans, and work with the delivery team on non-functional requirements.

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of experience in software development.


• 5+ years of experience in driving technical collaboration across multiple teams and organizations.


• Experience in building and improving Information Retrieval and Ranking, Machine Learning, and Embedding systems.


• Proficiency in developing and implementing machine learning models using Google Vertex AI and Python, specifically in Generative AI applications.


• Expertise in indexing, retrieval, and ranking stacks.


• Understanding of LLM fine-tuning, distillation, data generation, and prompt engineering across various tasks.


• Ability to work cross-functionally, partnering with groups such as Engineering, Product Management, AI COE, UX, and UI, and brokering trade-offs with stakeholders while understanding their needs.


• Outstanding narrative and storytelling skills that drive usage, adoption, and market momentum.
