A Day in the Life
This multi-faceted role will support the Structural Heart business strategies and physician relations projects following AdvaMed and Business Conduct Standards. This role will provide a world-class level of customer service on a day-to-day basis that represents Structural Heart Professional Relations as a partner with key stakeholders including: the office of medical affairs, clinical research, research and development, medical education, marketing and market development. This role will collaborate closely with Medtronic senior leaders and cross-functional business partners and is primarily accountable for the overall program management of the Structural Heart Advisory Board activities.

A Day in the Life

• Develops, maintains, and enhances the company's image with thought leaders/high profile individuals and/or groups.

• Plans, coordinates and executes strategic advisory services, executive meetings and strategic enterprise events.

• Develops, fosters, and maintain key customer relationships with healthcare professionals, strategically aligned with the business to increase market access and development opportunities and to aid in the education of other healthcare professionals.

• Develops concepts and aligns programs with market, product, and brand strategies.

• Leads functional teams and projects through influence, serving in a program manager role accountable for budgeting, timeline development, task delegation, process mapping, documentation, scheduling, calendaring, logistics planning, meeting facilitation, metric definition and reporting

• Anticipates cross functional partner and customer needs; proactively develops solutions to meet them while serving as a key resource on complex and/or critical issues.

• Monitor current programs and engagement processes identifying and encouraging program refinements by researching and proposing innovations to increase efficiencies, augment use of technology, increase customer satisfaction and/or enhance experiences.

• Partner with SH physician relations team to maintain Thought Leader status and activities.

• Monitor and enforce all standards and regulations in the Medtronic Business Conduct Standards as they pertain to customer events and visits.

• Identify necessary customer contracts in compliance with Medtronic and state regulations and facilitate their execution and maintenance.

• Ensure timely payment to all contracted physician partners.

• Assure compliance with all Medtronic processes and policies.

• Responds to outside requests for samples, literature, and general information.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree

• 7 + years' experience in a Physician Relations, Training, Field Support, Meeting Planning or Program Management role or 5+ years with an advanced degree.

Nice to Have

• Experience developing program plans and collaborating with C-suite stakeholders

• Healthcare knowledge and/or experience

• Experience in customer interactions and education experiences

• Experience in the design and delivery of customer facing programs for the medical device industry

• Facilitation skills for professional meeting settings

• Project Management experience, robust excel skills a plus

• Ability to work with multiple business partners for ensure best in class customer engagement programs

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$130,400.00 - $195,600.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
