Hourly rate expectations : $26 - $30 per hour (based on qualifications)

Your Role:

Tetra Tech's Emergency Management and Disaster Recovery Division (TDR) is seeking an experienced Logistics Lead to support multiple disaster recovery projects in Northern California. The ideal candidate will be expected to have 2 plus years of demonstrated experience in logistics/resource management, emergency management, or program management.

• Serve as logistics lead on various recovery projects throughout Northen California, providing logistical support and expertise to project management teams and staff.

• Responsible for managing temporary and full-time logistics staff on assigned projects.

• Perform logistics functions such as calculate burn rates, supply/distribution management, procurement, and travel coordination.

• Develop standard operating procedures for effective project execution.

• Work with TDR Logistics department to develop necessary technologies and data for reporting and tracking purposes.

• Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards.

• Pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness.

• Work in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concerns.

• Additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management, emergency management, or program management.

• Familiarity with excel or other resource tracking tools.

• Strong leadership and management skills.

• Strong understanding of financial budgeting processes and principles with the ability to forecast and maintain accurate project resources.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Comfortable with legal and regulatory processes to ensure company compliance.

• Adaptability to respond quickly to adjustments to initiatives and priorities; organizational skills and flexibility to maintain multiple priorities.

• Ability to travel extensively as required.
