Sr Lead, Tech PM provides consultation to business unit and IT project management and strategies. Undertakes complex projects requiring additional specialized technical knowledge, particularly in infrastructure and security. Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects. Takes projects from original concept through final implementation. Helps define project scope and objectives. Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project milestone estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Documents process flows and serves as a strong facilitator in meetings. Acts as a resource for direction, training, and guidance for less experienced staff. Provides leadership and guidance to staff, fostering an environment that encourages employee participation, teamwork, and communication. Handles the most complex IT projects. Coordinates with users to determine requirements. Provides weekly status updates and guidance to leadership for the Infrastructure and Network Security teams.

Responsibilities:

• As technology is implemented within IT projects, facilitates discussions with technical teams to understand the current state and to help document goal state
• Documents process flows and serves as a strong facilitator in meetings
• Acts as a resource for direction, training, and guidance for less experienced staff
• Provides leadership and guidance to staff, fostering an environment that encourages employee participation, teamwork, and communication
• Handles the most complex IT projects. Coordinates with users to determine requirements
• Provides weekly status updates and guidance to leadership for the Infrastructure and Network Security teams

Required Skills and Experience:
• Experienced, functional expert with technical and/or business knowledge and functional expertise
• Specialized knowledge of IT projects and processes, good consultative skills, strong analytical ability and ability to work effectively with clients and IT management and staff
• Experience in support and facilitation of all aspects of an IT project, i.e. requirements gathering, configuration, user training, implementation, and deployment
• Process documentation and visualization of workflows using Visio or similar software
• Experience in migrating IT teams to new technologies and systems
• Creating training documentation and demos for large user bases
• Strong analytical skills needed to analyze and evaluate technical information and coordinate projects
• Strong communication, technical teamwork, and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline or related experience as a project team member, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
• At least 10 years of experience in information technology in the financial industry

Preferred Experience:
• Providing white-glove technical support
• Using Azure DevOps, JIRA, or equivalent project management systems
• Using IT service management platforms such as ServiceNow for incident change management
• Segmenting different tenant environments for privileged user activities and non-privileged user activities
• Creating and archiving documentation in a repository, such as SharePoint or Confluence
• Collecting feedback or stakeholder test evidence through Microsoft Forms
• Network and infrastructure project experience
