Our client is urgently seeking a dedicated Web Content Specialist to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in supporting and executing digital experience initiatives and strategies that align with our client's organizational objectives and customer needs.
As a Web Content Specialist, you will be responsible for publishing engaging, customer-centric digital experiences. Your focus will be on executing enhancements for our client's public site at strategic touchpoints throughout the customer journey. This will be achieved by supporting the Digital Experience team as it migrates its main website to a new design and publishing system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend working sessions to identify, plan, prioritize, and analyze needs alongside key stakeholders
- Collaborate with UX designers, developers, and digital strategists to execute effective digital experience creation
- Use custom layouts and components to create new pages that support website migration objectives
- Edit existing content for accuracy, style standards, and digital best practices
- Follow processes and procedures for publishing and development
- Optimize content for search engines
- Add tagging to media and document library to empower targeted digital experiences
- Test digital experiences and validate content quality and expected behavior
- Validate CMS component functionality and report issues
Desired Skills and Experiences:
- Minimum of 1 year in digital and/or content-related roles (strategist, copywriter, etc.)
- Demonstrated experience writing, editing, and/or publishing consumer content for varied forms of interactive media (web, social, email, mobile)
- Experience working with a variety of content management systems (CMS) and workflow tools
- Knowledge of content marketing best practices and trends
- Awareness of taxonomy, SEO, and metadata best practices and strategy
- A strong interest in, or knowledge of, how health care organizations use content strategy and customer empathy to engage with their consumers
- Results-oriented approach driven by organization and consumer goals
Nice to Have:
- Bachelor's degree
- Drupal layout builder publishing experience
- Testing and quality assurance (QA) experience
- Experience working in an agile product-led environment
- Basic understanding of HTML preferred
- Background in CX / UX / Design Thinking
- Knowledge of the health care market (market dynamics, regulations)
- Experience working with IT, Product and/or Customer service teams
