Role Overview



Medical Records include, but are not limited to a patient's medical history, test results, office visit notes, discharge summary, and operative reports of treatments and medical services. We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour Medical Records Coordinator to join our Practice Support Specialist team. The desired schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm. Employees are expected to be onsite at our 22 Atwood location in Northampton for all hours worked during the first 30 days of employment for onboarding/training. There is potential for 100% remote work after the successful completion of the training program, based on performance.


Responsibilities Include:


  • • Ensure accurate entry of each patient's medical information into our Electronic Health Record (Epic)

  • • Performs due diligence in verifying that information entered into records is the most current information is scanned and filed correctly within the electronic filing categories and is correctly entered into discreet data fields per approved workflows.

  • • Learns new medical terminology and develops familiarity with tests/studies specific to the practices as needed to accurately enter patient results and file scanned documents.

This is an individual contributor position with opportunities for collaboration with our 3 other Medical Records Coordinators; there is no direct interaction with patients or care team members at the practices. In this role, you get the opportunity to impact patient experience from behind the scenes!

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Healthcare experience strongly preferred

  • Epic experience strongly preferred
